There have been nearly 300 some new homes built mostly around the area of route 8 and 228, in the more southwestern portion of the township. As of the 2010 Census, it had a population of just a little bit over 5,000 residents.ĭuring the 2010's, the township had been beginning to see solid housing growth, similar to other parts of southern Butler County. It had only grown with very limited post-war neighborhood developments and a few roadside businesses along route 8. For most of the township's duration, it had remained a predominantly agricultural community.
